Day 3: Hirado to Shimabara (130 km)
Drive south to Nagasaki for the Peace Park and Glover Garden, then continue to Shimabara.
Day 4: Shimabara to Aso (120 km)
Take the morning ferry to Kumamoto, visit the castle, then head into the Aso highlands.
Day 5: Aso to Hyuga Coast (130 km)
Early morning on the Milk Road for sea of clouds, then Takachiho Gorge, and east to the Pacific coast.
Day 6: Hyuga to Yufuin (150 km)
Drive north to Beppu for hot springs, then to the elegant mountain village of Yufuin.
Day 7: Yufuin to Fukuoka (120 km)
Morning onsen, Dazaifu shrine, then return your campervan and celebrate with Hakata ramen.
