🗣 Karen's Family Tip: "I raised my kids in Kyushu and we did campervan trips every summer. The #1 rule: do not over-schedule! Kids need downtime. Plan maximum 2 major activities per day, with lots of free play at beaches and parks in between. And always carry onigiri from a convenience store — a ¥120 rice ball solves most kid meltdowns. For onsen with young children, look for 'family bath' (kazoku-buro) options — private rooms where the whole family bathes together."

| Dinner | Curry rice (premade packs), pasta, grilled chicken | Supermarket + van cooking |
